A handsome pair of vintage Chinese porcelain figures finished in a soft ivory-white, Blanc de Chine–style glaze. The complementary figures depict a youthful court official holding a scroll and an elderly bearded scholar or sage, each standing amid expressive, cloud-like botanical forms.

Beautifully modeled with flowing robes, serene expressions and a sculptural monochromatic finish, the figures make an elegant addition to a mantel, bookcase or console. Their matching scale and contrasting characters give them particular presence when displayed together.

Each figure is impressed “CHINA” on the reverse of the base.

Patina recommends Monogram Logistics for local furniture delivery.

Their white-glove delivery includes bringing all items into your room of choice, unpacking, and removing packing material. Delivery may incur an additional fee for more than one flight of stairs, heavy items and the removal or moving of your own furniture.

The delivery crew will call you when they are on their way, approximately 1/2 hour prior to arriving.

Customer Self Pick-Up

If you choose to pick-up your purchase, please be sure to bring enough manpower to move your items into your vehicle. Remember to bring sufficient blankets/bubble wrap/rope if necessary. Patina is not responsible for any damage incurred with your move. We request that all purchases be picked up within 1 week from date of purchase.
