The famous fishnet design, which originated in 1858 from a Herend painter's inspiration from a Chinese plate, has since become a coveted signature for this renowned European porcelain manufacturer. Founded in 1826, Herend started as a producer of earthenware in a small Hungarian village, but under new ownership in 1839, began focusing on creating replacement dinnerware pieces for Europe's royal families to complement their prized porcelain patterns. As demand grew, Herend's artists also began designing their own dinnerware patterns and creating meticulously-crafted figurines. Queen Victoria's purchase of a large set in 1851 for Windsor Castle marked a milestone in Herend's success, leading to aristocrats all over Europe clamoring for their own pieces.

Furniture Delivery

Patina recommends Monogram Logistics for local furniture delivery.

Their white-glove delivery includes bringing all items into your room of choice, unpacking, and removing packing material. Delivery may incur an additional fee for more than one flight of stairs, heavy items and the removal or moving of your own furniture.

The delivery crew will call you when they are on their way, approximately 1/2 hour prior to arriving.

Customer Self Pick-Up

If you choose to pick-up your purchase, please be sure to bring enough manpower to move your items into your vehicle. Remember to bring sufficient blankets/bubble wrap/rope if necessary. Patina is not responsible for any damage incurred with your move. We request that all purchases be picked up within 1 week from date of purchase.
