This exquisite early 19th-century English tea caddy is a fine example of Regency craftsmanship. Made of burled walnut and richly detailed with geometric parquetry inlay, the box features two interior compartments with domed lids and brass knobs for storing loose teas. The exterior showcases contrasting banded marquetry in boxwood, ebony, and mahogany, with a central brass escutcheon (no key included).

A beautiful balance of form and function, this tea caddy would have once graced the parlor of an elegant home where afternoon tea was a cherished ritual. It remains a prized decorative object—ideal for collectors or as a stylish accent on a bar, bookshelf, or sideboard.
