Antique Royal Bayreuth Tomato Sugar & Creamer c.1900

Part of a late 19th Century Royal Bayreuth of Tettau, Germany porcelain figural tomato tea service.
Early Royal Bayreuth marking present (the earliest branding was the cursive "T." This stamp, the second branding the company used, features a single lion holding a "T" shield). Estimated date of production is c. 1875-1900.

Between 1875 and 1900 the Royal Bayreuth factory in Germany became noted for apple, tomato and other fruit and vegetable figurines, creamers and various dishes. Each dish shaped in the form of a vegetable, fruit, bird or animal became highly collectible. In 1973 this set was listed at $65.00

The delivery crew will call you when they are on their way, approximately 1/2 hour prior to arriving.

Customer Self Pick-Up

If you choose to pick-up your purchase, please be sure to bring enough manpower to move your items into your vehicle. Remember to bring sufficient blankets/bubble wrap/rope if necessary. Patina is not responsible for any damage incurred with your move. We request that all purchases be picked up within 1 week from date of purchase.
